wow, he did it.  to bad it wasn't the bottom of the ninth.

He was just leading you on.  Here is comes.

and there it goes.

I don't know why I'm ticked off.  With this bullpen we would be lucky to beat the Diamond Head Pinto 7-9 year olds.

whatever happened to Danny Almonte?

Edit: He married a 30 year old and plays for some minor league team.

Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

I don't know which is worse, blowing a 5 run lead or not being able to score at Coors friggin field for 6 straight innings

farging bums

Don Ho

blowing a 5 run lead or not being able to score at Coors friggin field for 6 straight innings

definitely the latter...shtein you can blink and blow a 10 run lead at coors...what you cannot do is score two runs over the last nine innings and expect to win
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

I don't know if that qualifies as ironic or merely coincidental but either way I like it.

:-D

farging bums blow a five run lead and only get two hits off the bullpen in six innings.  Meanwhile, the Phillies bullpen springs leaks all over the place and snatches defeat from the jaws of victory again.  Sickening.  I'm glad I watched a movie last night instead of that partial birth abortion.

After the Phils batted in the 11th, I went to bed, figuring that a loss was inevitable.

That, and it was 1am.  I was tired.

It's at times like this that I'm glad I don't live in Philly... because I'd have been watching the game.

I don't live in Philly - I PAY to watch this crap.  :boom

PhillyPhreak54

I watched it. Unfortunately.

As soon as Kendrick went out and they turned it over to that group of no talent assclowns who are dressed like major league ballplayers but play like beer league softballers i knew they would lose.

Speaking of insulting the fans' intelligence, from Marcus Hayes' column today. . .

QuoteGetting that pair back, combined with the general effectiveness of Antonio Alfonseca, Ryan Madson and Mike Zagurski could turn one of the league's worst bullpens into one of its best.

Disgusting.

:-D What the heck is Hayes watching?

Alfonseca has blown two saves in the past three games.

Gordon seems to be cooked - and has since the second half of last season.

Madsen pitches scared.

And the Fat Man?   :-D
