first of all its not a bp fastball its that particular pitchers best fastball

secondly have you ever watched a home run hitting contest...thats guys getting true bp fastballs knowing whats coming and still they dont hit for a great average

taking your chances with a fastball in that spot is infintely better than walking a guy...why would you give up a free run in a close late inning game

I think his overall IQ is relatively low.

I have never seen a single player make so many boneheaded baserunning plays.  Since his strength is supposed to be his speed on the basepaths, you'd think he's work on getting picked off and thrown out less often.

His getting thrown out at third could have cost the Phils one, maybe even more runs.

The dive into the stands was stupid, especially since it was useless - he had more of a chance catching malaria than he did that ball.
