Sgt PSN

Just what I needed to wake up to this morning.  Thanks Rome.  Dick.

Don't worry about it.  Polanco would either be injured and/or hitting under .260 if he were on the Phillies.

ice grillin you

until the this team gets new owners...they will go aboslutely nowhere....they will be just good enough to get a segment of the fanbase exicted in june but never good enough to actually win anything

well yea no shtein black sherlock, but you seem giddy over it

no sherlock here...im not saying anything everyone didnt know...and while im not rooting for it to happen it will be exciting and it will make me giggle a little at all the fans who thought the phillies were actually a good team

note*- with hamels going monday and clevelands roation shaping up to throw out less than stellar pitchers the cleveland series doesnt look like a sweep anymore...phils could actually win one or hell maybe even two

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

MDS

they have a legit chance to come out of here 3-3 against indians and tigers. which is fine.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

a legit chance no at 3-3 no...an outside chance yes

they have a legit chance of getting swept by detroit and no chance at sweeping cleveland

2-4 is a legit goal right now and really wouldnt be all that bad....3-3 would be magnificient

Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Rome

They have the Florida State League All-Star Game in Daytona this weekend.  I went to the home run derby & skills competition last night.  The Phillies were well represented by Lou Marson, Greg Golson & Jeremy Slayden who ended up winning the Home Run Derby.

Rome

BTW: Golson has a cannon for an arm.  He was in the throwing competition and he made some ridiculous throws from left and center.  He air-mailed a couple so he didn't win but he was definitely the class of the competition.

MDS

He might be okay in RF, with Victorino playing CF. Doubtful that Burrell will be in LF much longer, sad considering how great he his at babip, vorp, pecota, and the rest of the stats that truly tell how productive a player is, despite the fact that hes a power hitter who has less rbi' and hr's than jimmy rollins. also ryan howard was awful for the first month and missed 2 weeks and he still has more rbi's than burrell. the bat baby, the bat.

Slayden was also impressive.  His swing reminded me of Chase Utley's.  The wind was blowing directly in from right field and he was just crushing balls through it one after the next.

BigEd76

Slayden is one of their few OF prospects but for some reason they keep passing him up for promotions.  Maybe now that the All-Star game is over, he'll get a shot at Reading or Ottawa, where there's nothing to be excited about in the outfield

Ol' Six Fingers trying his damnedest to throw the game.

So much for igy's sweep, thanks to Jamie Moyer.
