You can forget Smoltz & Zambrano.  Both will re-sign.  That leaves Westbrook, Schilling & Jennings.

Mathieson is 2 years away from being where he was last year.  Plus he is better suited in a closer's role imo.

And that's assuming Moyer still wants to pitch. I'm not saying he won't be effective since he relies on location but he'll be 45 come next season so he might just hang em up. I'm for Myers coming back to the rotation and rebuilding the bullpen in the offseason, it would be easier and cheaper to find 2 relievers than it would to find two starters.

i totally agree and thats kinda what i was saying about the rotation with him in it...its not promising....i like moyer a lot but lets be real the guy is a borderline full time starter in the majors now...and hes only gonna get worse as he gets closer to 50
