You can drink over there.  You can gamble over there.  The women there wear bikinis... even though those types of things are against the muslim religion.  They completely cater to tourism because they realize it's the key to their economy...

Matt Lauer did one of his world stops there from the top of this hotel about 2 weeks ago.



He described Dubai (and showed video proving it) as part New York City, part Miami and part Las Vegas.  It's impossible to hate a city like Dubai.

buddy of mine was over in Dubai for work. he said u can drink, although the websites say its forbidden. he had some awesome pics. he rented 4 wheelers and drove them through the dunes and shtein. not a bad place to visit im sure. to live...im not so sure.

I thought he was having dependence issues, he was pretty open about it.  I looked on the member list, he was last on in february.
