ice grillin you

Caught Spider-Man 3 today.  I'll say it was okay, but fairly disappointing.  Should have/could have been much better.  Seemed really over-inflated, self-righteous and over-the-top. 3 out of 5 would be generous, I think.

hard to believe.....its looks so good....

i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Rome

The local Movie Gallery chain store had a deal on used DVD's today (or maybe it's every day, I don't know).  Buy two, get two free.

I got Children of Men, The Departed, Rocky Balboa & An Inconvenient Truth for $29.98.  Not bad.  Looking forward to finally seeing Children of Men & The Departed.

exactly...everything seemed forced. there is no real introduction to the symbiote/Venom...it just lands next to Parker. i thought they would at least go with the astronaut brought it back accidently angle.

than harry vs parker....ok bad enough that it kept going back and forth but then out of nowhere harry's butler (alfred wannabe) goes "umm oh yeah forgot to tell you...you two have been fighting for like 2 movies but yeah your dad died on his own". i would have killed the buttler right there.

then you have the very very ugly kirsten dunst playing a character thats supposed to be a "model".

everything was forced and for a movie that is 2.5 hrs long....it just seemed like it was thrown in with no real direction. i know its a comic book movie but after Spiderman 2 i was expecting more. and they threw in that patriotic garbage in spiderman 1 with the "US NEW YORKERS STICK TOGETHER"....did they really need Spiderman to run by a american flag? the whole theater cringed.

Speaking of bad 3rd Marvel movies. Just watched X3. If it wasn't for the fact that I used to be a comic book geek it would have been almost unwatchable.

That being said I enjoyed it very much.

I totally agree, Phanatic.  Except I hated it.  Derivative, obvious, poorly acted and developed not a single character.
If the fight scenes had been OK, none of that would've mattered.  But they sucked too.
Anyone but Reid.

fargin funny move.

"The price is wrong, bitch!"
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

Saw 28 Weeks Later today.

Most of the published reviews have been positive, but I have read a couple that were negative and all of them said something along the lines of "(this or that plot line) was totally unrealistic and as a viewer I just couldn't take it seriously". Uh, it's a ZOMBIE MOVIE you farging twit.

Anyway, it was awesome. It wasn't anything all that new or groundbreaking, but it was completely enjoyable and the tension that was built throughout was fantastic.

7-8 out of 10.

Interesting how the kids from Growing Pains turned out.

One is a Jesus freak, one is a recovering anorexic, one is a homo and the other is a female version of Screech.

Well done, Jason & Maggie!

Dicaprio seems to have made it out ok.  ;D Then again, I don't think he was theirs...

Haven't seen anything this week 'cause I spent the week polishing off The Shield, season 5, on DVD. :yay
Maybe the voices aren't real, but, they've got some pretty good ideas...
