Agreed, therefore your post is going to be the one we discuss him in.

SunMo also spelled Clemson wrong. This one is 100x better.

There's no profile for him on NFL.com's draft site.

I was wrong.  He's listed as a safety.

QuoteJunior. Good size, athletic ability. Will go up for the ball. Plays wide corner. Struggled vs WFU in the 1st half. Played much better in the 2nd. Had an INT in the 4th Qtr. CLEM was in Cover 2. CJ dropped into the short area, then peeled off to the slot receiver. Looked like the QB was eyeing the slot. CJ stepped in front of the ball for an easy pick. Returned it 21 yds. Plays trail coverage a lot. Can be a good, wrap-up tackler. Doesn't backpedal very much. Will come up and play the run. Has good feet. Moves well. Has fluid hips. At times, will look very good with his backpedal and break. Picked off pass vs SC. Had Rice in the slot and just cut underneath him to snag the ball. Shows excellent awareness. Will blitz off the edge. Fast. Played some Safety in 2005.

SUMMARY

Outstanding natural talent. Big enough to play Safety, but athletic enough to play CB. The fact he's coming out early and split time between spots did not give him a chance to develop into a really good player. Should be a better pro than college player. I think he's too talented to use at Safety. Some team that likes big CBs should turn him into a press corner. Has 1st Rd talent, but will likely be a 2nd or 3rd Rd player because he needs work.

Just go to scoutsnotebook.com, it's way better.

Stallworth Supporter

From Yahoo!

The good: Gaddis is a strong athlete who has all the skills needed to become a quality NFL corner - size, speed and tackling ability. He is very aggressive in both run support and coverage and plays a physical game with strong hands that enable him to use the bump and run well. He matches up well with big wideouts and can be physical both at line and in coverage with the power to make big hits. In run support, he is one of the better tacklers with the ability to get off blocks and deliver big hits.

The bad: He needs further development on his basic technique and reads to be ready to cover NFL caliber receivers. He is not yet completely comfortable on the corner and needs reps in both man and zone coverage. His basis technique needs improvement with a lower backpedal and better plant and drive skills to break on the ball. His recognition skills are inconsistent and he can be slow to recognize routes and plays, negating his athleticism. In the deep game, he can lose sight of the ball in the air and allow big plays with inconsistent ball skills and slow to pick up the route and the pass that hurts his final grade.

Outlook: Physical, raw cover man with the athletic ability to make an NFL roster. He needs to show quick development in several critical areas. He should be an early factor in the dime package, and has the potential to develop into a starting corner. Nice upside with the physical package to be a tough gunner on special teams while he develops. Could possibly move to safety, but only after a look at corner. Top 150 athlete and a nice late steal.

I like it.  Wanted the guy from Wyoming, but I'm cool with Gaddis.  I watched a ton of Clemson games this year and he impressed me.  And we've done OK with DBs from Clemson in the past.

Darrell Crutchfield was pretty good!!

I think he'll play safety.  He's a former QB, too.

I like the Clemson connection with Dawkins.
