Yeah and I know that the Eagles lost a game to the Giants, Saints, and almost lost one to Dallas because of shabby play at that position.

To me Teh SS position as well as Dawks replacement needed to come out of this draft.  It seems to me that the Eagles never had any intnetion to address that position.  But hey who cares?

nobody said there are not other needs on the team, only that DE is one of them.  Is that hard to understand?  Jesus. 

I said if it is a need the Eagles have a more pressing need at other positions is that so hard to understand?

It was a need.

Kearse = injury + older
Howard = injuries + older + needs someone to take pressure off him
Cole = needs snaps limited
Thomas = good 4th DE
McDougle = gone

It was our biggest need. Which is why I wanted Spencer at 26, and it pisses me off that he went to farging DALLAS.

Eagles 1st rounders always suck though, so maybe he will too.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

I love the pick merely for the fact the Eagles suck against the run and he could help big time based on his size and weight at 6-5 274lb.

As for outside pressure on a pass rush and getting around the fastest of offensive tackles...forget it.

It looks like he was picked for one reason only

From what I've read, it's not his lack of quickness, it's his technique and lack of pass rush moves.
