I think i'll go with the the paid guys.

Yeah, they know as much as we do and they're all just as perplexed as everyone else is... the pick, where they made it, makes no sense no matter how you spin it.

at least they have a top 5 defense and they didn't have any need with this pick

I wonder if IGY's murdered anyone yet.

If so, hopefully it was Andy Reid and/or Tom Heckert.

I already said i hated the pick earlier, but i'm posting about the all the people saying that the Eagles don't want to win this year.  That's absurd.

Kolb is going to be a beast. I heard he can play LB, S, CB, and DE -- AT ONCE.

Andy was supposed to talk about the pick on TV after they made it, but he probably pussed out

I think they're looking at it from the point of view that the D sucked so much ASS last year they cost the team the NO playoff game (and regular season game) and the Bucs game because they could barely stop teams from chewing all the clock at the end of the game. So in that regard... there was players available that could help a lot more quickly than Kolb will because they'll have a greater chance to see the field SOONER than Kolb will. He has almost NO chance to see the field this year in any fashion. Almost any other position drafted that high would have and would have a greater chance to make a more immediate impact.

He was their plan B since the Eagles took Kolb.

Ever since the front office was right about Mcnabb, and a decent portion of the fans were wrong about Ricky williams, the front office thinks they are infalliable, and can make any bonehead move they want.  This is a disastrous pick of monumental proportions.

Because they get it.

if we were just going to throw our pick away on a qb, why not do a new england and trade to san fran for their 2008 1st round pick.  the qb we could get in the top 10 is a lot better then Kolbert.

DH

So if Quinn was available at 26, I guess we would have taken him?

BRILLIANT!

farg em all.
