Dhani = garbage
On ESPN or NFLN, cant remember which, they were talking about how the Giants need a LB, because, and I quote:

"Dhani Jones isnt as good as he used to be with the Eagles"

I'm surprised no one else noticed that.

Marshall Faulk said that....

Anyway, I like the trade, more young players to add to the defense.
Faulk is retarded, he just was fast and no one noticed he was a waterhead

that whitebread qb from byu would be money.  :yay

Now that would be an interesting pick. It wouldn't shock me somehow.
At this point they could come away with someone like Weddle and Leonard and an extra 5th. Acceptable maybe but hardly exciting.

the Eagles also traded with dallass a couple of years ago and they picked  Marcus Spears. Spears said he couldn't do much with Parcells scheme, but will be able to do alot more this year. I'm still waiting to see how that one works out in the end. I think the Eagles used the material from that trade to move up last year, maybe for Gocong or MJG.
Spears was a first rounder, we traded with them and they picked Canty, the FO in turn used that pick i believe on Herremans

Why would the Eagles have moved up for Nelson? I'm a huge fan of his, but when have they shown they value the safety position enough to trade up for one, especially when they have literally said that they can get them in the middle rounds. How do you know Jacksonville would have traded the pick anyways? They practically sprinted up to the podium at 21.

well they havent/dont, but thats why i was frustrated. safety and LB are need positions and i thought we would have been to get at least one of the top 3. oh well #36 is not that bad but trading with dallas, or any nfc east rival just irks me.

6'6" 330, takes a lot of games off

#563
Patriots trade down with San Francisco

49ers take Joe Staley

bowzer

well, he can take games off if he stops the run in the ones he doesn't take off.

TexasEagle

Thanks, Ed. A lot of people seem to be big on the guy. I don't follow much college ball these days so wonder what the hubbub is all about.

Rumor floating for 2 weeks was he has stress fractures in both legs because of being such a fatass

that's right, canty. I think he was considered potentially a first or second round talent but had alot of physical questions including an eye injury.

PhillyPhreak54

Jesus...NE got SFs 2008 #1 pick and a 4th.
