Yes I would, but only if you would drown in your own pool of excrement.

2 weeks in Ocean Isle Beach, NC in June.  Nice house right on the beach -- walk off our porch, and on to the sand.  It's a rental, but it should be very nice.

Also looking at a lake house out in Lake of the Ozarks.  Haven't convinced the Mrs. yet, but maybe I'm getting closer.
The drawback to marital longevity is your wife always knows when you're really interested in her and when you're just trying to bury it.

My wife's company is sending us on an all-expenses-paid week to the Grand Wailea on Maui.

I just found out another detail:  daily food/drink allowance for the two of us?  $300.

You will love The Grand Wailea.  Probably one of the top hotels in Hawaii.  Everyone I know that has stayed there has loved it.  When are you going?

do they have a whole agenda planned out for you or is it quality free time?  Lot of things to do on Maui.  I can also tell you where not to go.  shtein, just hanging at The Grand Wailea is worth the trip out.   My god yesterday was a long day.  Left Philadelphia at 8:15 AM, changed planes in Chicago and landed in HNL around 2:15 PM.   12 hours in airports and planes.  Every flight we were on, coming and going was packed.  Thank god I had my laptop and a good book.

Yeah, we're not looking forward to flying, especially with an 8-month-old... but first class will make it bearable.

We'll have a lot of free time, but we'll also have an infant in tow.  What stuff is "can't miss" good?

United in first class only and 9 times out of 10 the damn outlet doesn't work.  American in first class, first 5 rows of economy and than I think it's every other row in economy on certain planes.  Delta does on some planes.  Continental in first and first 10 rows of economy.

Even if the plane has a power source you need different adapters.  For United you need a little three prong adapter.  American uses the standard cigarette style adapter.

I went and bought a notebook battery which claims to have 6 hours of juice but I usually get 4.  It helps to kill time and is well worth buying one if you fly alot.  Takes the headache away when you have a long flight and you are sitting in a seat with a power port that doesn't work.

Looks like the Iceland trip is back on the front burner. The guy who was questioning it has done a 180, and now he's practically planning the entire trip. It'll happen before October, because we want to go before the brass monkeys migrate south.
