instead hes jumping in line behind someone who gave huge support both in money and air time to his presidential campaign in 04...please dont act like john kerry is taking some brave stand here...imus is his boy....

i like john kerry but if youre looking for someone "real" in this situation john kerry is a terrible example

youd be better off finding someone who doesnt like imus but is against his firing or a friend/supporter of his who agreed with the firing...they are out there

FF can quote me then. I never liked him even a little...and listened to him even less than that, but I don't think he should have been fired.

Dennis Kucinich to file articles of Impeachment on Cheney.  Aggressive leadership, or political stunt?
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

It has no chance of going through unless he has something on him that no one knows about.

Cheney is scum.   Bush is stupid and incompetent but that other piece of filth is flat-out evil.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Impeaching Cheney would only serve to give the Republicans a slightly better chance in 2008, though.

I don't see how.  I know this country skews right these days, especially the bible-thumping inbeciles in the south and midwest, but after eight years of absolutely disasterous policy-making by a Republican, I think their time is at and end.

The only way the Democrats could farg up is if Hillary Clinton is on the ticket.  Knowing Democrats, I fully expect them to do just that.

I think this makes the difference - if he doesn't have some serious dirt on Cheney, he's just doing this for the pub.  Still, it is pretty clever to go after the VP - much less of a sacred cow than going after the pres.
