they did omething like that with four rooms, with the four different directors, except this looks to be much more fun.

those two have collaborated a lot together.

ice grillin you

it's two totally different movies

the one thing i dont like about the double feature is that both movies have some of the same actors...im assuming thats how grindhouse double features were in the 70's...otherwise i dont understand why youd do that
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Rose McGowan is in both, as different characters...same with Tarantino

some actors play the same role in one of the movies and one of the trailers

so in the actual movies its only mcgowen and tarantino that are in both

i dont like the idea of the actor who plays the lead in one movie showing up in the second movie as a totally different character...i feel like the whole time you will be looking at him/her and thinkign they are the same person from movie #1...unecessary but like i said they must be keepijng with tradition because i know down to a tee they wanted this to resemble the original grindhouse showings

In the case of Rose McGowan, the more the better.

thats pretty much how it was. You'd have your Bruce Lee double features. Pam Grier would be in them. Most of the old double features will billed by actor...

I think I'm one of the last people to finally watch Fight Club.  Having not been given any spoilers before hand, the end result was pretty predictable......figured it out less than halfway through but it was still entertaining none the less.

You mean to tell us that you're claiming you never even accidentally heard the ending to Fight Club, so you're actually believing you're smart enough to have figured it out?

At the very least, you had certainly heard there WAS a twist at the end, which would make it equally as easy to figure out.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying.  I've never hear of any twists or spoilers or anything about the movie.  The previews for the movie didn't really do much for me so I never had a desire to see it and my friends who had seen it simply told me it was awesome and that I had to watch it but they never said anything about it.

It was a cool movie and I'd watch it again but I definately wouldn't say it was awesome.

What I'm trying to say here is that you're not smart.

Beautiful people don't have to be smart.

Dark City is fantastic.  The visual grittiness (see Rowand, Aaron) in that movie I don't think I've seen matched anywhere.

Rome

I watched a horror movie last night that terrified me to the depths of my very soul.  I fear that the horror will linger with me for the next six months too...

I watched State Of Grace last night.

The cast: Sean Penn, Gary Oldman, Ed Harris, John C. Reilly and John Turturo... Holy shtein! It's gonna be great, right?! No.

It was the definition of mediocre. I don't know whether I was expecting too much (because I love Oldman, Turturo and Harris) or if it really was as bad as I thought. Penn and Robin Wright were AWFUL. Complete hacks. And even Oldman, who for my money is one of the best actors around, was nearly unwatchable for the first 30 minutes of the movie.

The story was good and there were flashes of good/great stuff especially from Oldman later in the movie, but overall, meh.

to summarize that review...

"This movie is below me, I hated that I had to watch it.  Ewww, blood, yucky!"

I caught the last 10-15 minutes of Fat Albert on tv last night.  I have no desire to find out what happened in the 75 minutes leading up to that point.
