does anyone read the chris steuber section over on PE?  i wish i didn't but every now and then I have to because it makes me so angry.  who is this guy and what makes him knowledgable enough to have his own section?  he seems like a normal everyday schmuck.  for example, he thinks that the bears are going to trade briggs to the skins for the 6th pick, just so they can trade the pick away because accordng to him, the bears have cap issues.

I think the Eagles WR's are very much like Arizona's, who no one ever rips on. Sure that team did horrible, but no one blamed the passing game.

Yahoo's latest mock is up.  Some of you are going to beat it raw when you read this...

26. Philadelphia Eagles – Rutgers running back Brian Leonard. They might have other needs but a combo back like Leonard can be teamed with Brian Westbrook. The pair could play together at times with Westbrook motioning out to the slot and Leonard's presence would give them a more diversified offense to build around the return of quarterback Donovan McNabb.

I admit that I haven't seen Leonard play much so I don't know if he's all hype or what but the prospect of the Eagles getting another legitimate weapon to play alongside Westbrook is very appealing to me.

But you're right about the nine players thing... the Eagles could use a playmaker on defense more than offense.  I just don't know if a defensive playmaker will be there at 26.

Leonard wouldn't be a good pick in the first round. I know he'd be a very good weapon...but do you really want your first round pick to get 10 touches a game?

I'd be ecstatic about a first rounder getting any sort of time or impact at all, considering history.

I'd would love to see Leonard in Eagles green...but even as a Leonard fan, the first round would be a reach.  Second round, I'd pull the trigger and not think twice about it...but I doubt he drops that far into the second.
