QuoteWarner also had the second-place movie, "300," which had been No. 1 the previous two weekends. The battle epic set in ancient Greece took in $20.5 million, lifting its total to $162.4 million.

Money in the bank.

Mean Streets - great movie on it's own, becomes even greater when you realize it was done in 1972 and Scorcsese created things that are being copied today.  Keitel was good, DeNiro great.

16 Blocks - nothing special, should've ended it with Willis dying at the courthouse.  happy endings suck.

goodfellas is better than mean streets, no doubt

but mean streets was basically a rough draft for goodfellas, and well done too

I watched Little Miss Sunshine and Casino Royale yesterday. They were both still awesome and I actually liked LMS even more than the first time I saw it.

I bought Rocky Balboa the day it was released but finally watched it again this weekend, some of the deleted scenes are decent, the alternate ending has him staying in the ring during the announcement and winning the split decision. (I still like the original ending they used better, since he left the ring before the announcement because to him it wasn't about winning or losing)

SunMo

that was the alternate ending?  i thought for sure it would be him dying.

Rome

I also liked that he lost in his final bout just as he lost in the first 'Rocky.'

That would have ruined the movie if he had won...
