I saw that vid matty, crazy part he was a beast in college.  I knew his brothers back when he went pro.  Things havent exactly worked out in SF as they thought it would.

26. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
MICHAEL GRIFFIN S | Texas |
After replacing Donte' Stallworth by signing Kevin Curtis the Eagles are free to address another position in round one and based on value and need Michael Griffin would appear to be the best fit.
Quote57. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Ray McDonald DE | Florida |
Despite all of the picks and money they've invested in the d-line help is still needed up front.
Quote90. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
Trent Edwards QB | Stanford |
Donovan McNabb just cannot seem to stay healthy and Jeff Garcia has bolted as a free agent.
And my favortie part about Trent Edwards...

In the first?

That is just about the only pick where Tim Crowder is a better option.  :-D

BigEd76

yeah, and three of his next four picks were Aaron Ross (NO), Reggie Nelson (NE) and Dwayne Bowe (SD)

BigEd76

PFT's latest mock has the Eagles taking Sidney Rice.  It's also the first mock I've seen that doesn't have the Raiders taking Russell (who falls to Cleveland at #3)...

Marshall Faulk threw up a cupcake last night when talking about the Niners' draft plans.

He said Ted Ginn Jr. in the first round, Michael Griffen in the 2nd, and Anthony Spencer in the 3rd.  I suppose the Eagles would like to get LaRon Landry in the 5th also, but he just might not be there.

farging ghey.

Faulk is the worst analyst on TV besides Irvin, and you expect that with Irvin

The worst part was that it was all scripted and there was no challenge about the players very possibly not being available to fit into Marshall's ridiculous plan.

Anyway, I'm back to not watching anymore draft coverage now.

26. Philadelphia: Aaron Ross, CB, Texas
The 6-0, 193-pound Ross has the size and strength to effectively jam receivers at the line. He also has plenty of speed to hold up well in man-to-man coverage, which should allow him to make an immediate impact.

He had Griffin, Nelson, and Timmons going after this pick, all of whom I would rather the Birds take, but I wouldn't be upset with Ross.

Kirwan's updated mock has us going CB as well.

26. **Philadelphia: Chris Houston, CB, Arkansas -- The Eagles need a corner and a safety to go a long with a top-flight outside linebacker. They signed Kevin Curtis this week to eliminate the wide receiver need and Houston falls to Philadelphia because the Giants went for a linebacker.

Between the two, I think I'd rather have Ross, who isn't as polished, but has much more athleticism.

Former Louisville RB Bush has surgery on leg

NFL.com wire reports

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (March 21, 2007) -- Former Louisville running back Michael Bush underwent surgery March 20 on the leg he broke during the first game of last season.

Bush, who entered the upcoming NFL draft as a junior, had a new rod inserted and was expected to be released from a Louisville hospital on March 21, spokesman Rocco Gasparro said.

Gasparro said Bush sought another medical opinion when his bone didn't heal quickly enough. He's expected to be out another couple of months and won't be able to work out March 26 during Louisville's Pro Day, Gasparro said.

Bush decided to skip his senior season, despite playing in only one game as a junior. In his sophomore year, Bush ran for 1,183 yards and an NCAA-leading 23 touchdowns.

He scored three touchdowns in the first half of the season-opener against Kentucky last year before breaking his leg early in the second half.

The Cardinals went on to finish 12-1, beating Wake Forest in the Orange Bowl.

Ouch. I wonder is he'll even get drafted.....
