casino royale - a bond movie only in name....it basically was mission impossible with the lead character named james bond...a fairly enjoyable watch but not a shred of orginality and i realize belief is supposed to be suspended in movies like this but the drowning scene at the end was outrageous

in the end there is nothing really positive or negative to say about it...but if i had to id say that the good is that it wasnt sahara and the bad is that its just your standard fare typical hollywood action movie

The drowning scene was one of the major departures from the book.  In the book, it was a straight suicide with a drug overdose.  Definitely more believable, but not EON-esque.
