i dont think theyll match either...but he said it so matter of factly...not like "remember dallas could still match"...or even "i think dallas will match"

perceived drama = a reason for people to listen to WIP

If it was so matter of fact. Why wouldn't Dallas matched by now?

...maybe because there's no reason to be hasty about it, as they have 6 more days to review the contract and make a decision?

ice grillin you

isnt it standard issue for teams to wait until the last day or the evening before to match even if they know they are?

According to gargano, via igy, the decision is made.

I don't know. That's why I asked.

Rome

Maybe the Cowboys front office is still in a state of collective hysterics over it?

PoopyfaceMcGee

It's shooting their offseason plan to shtein.  They knew it was this year that Fowler would emerge as the next Butkus.

Cerevant

Actually, they are all sitting in the film room, watching the 5 plays this guy was in this year over and over again.  "WTF did the Eagles see to make them think this guy was a starter?"
An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

PoopyfaceMcGee

All traces of the Fowler offer were removed from PE.com, and Spadaro or McPherson removed the pinned thread on TATE talking about it.

This situation just gets weirder and weirder.

Rome

Where'd the entire free agency section go?

SunMo

they deleted it to save bandwith, it's not like they need it.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

phattymatty

speaking of pe.com, that chris steuber dude who has his own draft section has no idea what he's talking about.

phattymatty

QuoteAs of Sunday afternoon, reports indicate that linebacker Ryan Fowler will soon sign an offer sheet from either the Eagles or the Titans.

Did you see my response to you in that thread?

LOL - he got all upset.

What a tool.

BigEd76

McPherson deleted the pinned Fowler thread.  Steuber has his "look what I made! I'm special!" draft site of his own ( http://www.nfldraftpro.com )
