Schefter mentioned that Dillon wants to go to a team like Philly, becuase it is the best place left in need of a second back in terms of ability to get to the post season.

The best place... outside of NE?
Why did he force his own release to go take on the same role in a different city, with a much lower likelihood of going to the superbowl?
There must have been something going on up there in NE. Bellicheck seems like a real Ahole...
He wants to play for the pyrite standard

The BIGSTUD

Schefter said on NFL-N that Droughns was probably going to sign with the Packers.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Rome

Droughns is farging garbage.  Green Bay let Ahman Green walk and signed that piece of crap.

Hilarious.

shorebird

Dillon didn't want to play for NE because he wanted more than 10-15 carries a game. He's not coming to the Eagles and play second string to Bwest.

mussa

can't see it happening either, but I'd love for him to come here. that's wishing the offensive goes run first. ain't happening. it's a shame this team is measured on pass or run, the later being a shoe in for success. but the coach refuses too and leaves me in a world of hate.

QuoteEagles | James could re-sign
Fri, 9 Mar 2007 02:22:48 -0800

Les Bowen, of the Philadelphia Daily News, reports the Philadelphia Eagles are presumably looking to sign a nickel corner, who could end up being unrestricted free-agent CB William James (Eagles), but it does not seem likely to be unrestricted free-agent CB Roderick Hood (Eagles).

Eagles | Eagles show interest in Fowler
Fri, 9 Mar 2007 02:15:53 -0800

John Nalbone, of the Trenton Times, reports the Philadelphia Eagles have expressed interest in restricted free-agent LB Ryan Fowler (Cowboys).

Eagles | Brown on tap to be No. 1 receiver
Fri, 9 Mar 2007 02:39:21 -0800

Mark Eckel, of the Trenton Times, reporting for the Sporting News, reports Philadelphia Eagles WR Reggie Brown could find himself as the team's No. 1 option in the passing game next season, at least that appears to be the team's plan.

Eagles | Eagles likely to use late draft pick on quarterback
Fri, 9 Mar 2007 02:27:22 -0800

Mark Eckel, of the Trenton Times, reporting for the Sporting News, reports the Philadelphia Eagles may use a second-day pick (fifth or sixth round) on a quarterback. Head coach Andy Reid likes grooming young quarterbacks, and it's likely he'll try again. Two possibilities are Brigham Young University QB John Beck and Stanford QB Trent Edwards

I like the idea of James coming back.

Eckel with some great reporting there.  Phreak, hurry up and get your degree to replace Eckel's hack job he does every day

Fowler's visiting today according Bowen:
QuoteThe Birds signed wide receiver and kick returner Bethel Johnson to a 1-year contract yesterday, believed to be for the veteran minimum. Today, the Eagles acknowledged they are scheduled to entertain wideout Kevin Curtis. Sources close to the situation say linebacker Ryan Fowler was en route to Philadelphia last night, after visiting Tennessee yesterday, and will meet with the Eagles.

QuoteCurtis, 28, got a late start on his Utah State career after serving a 2-year Mormon mission in London. He is 2 years older than Stallworth, even though Stallworth has been in the NFL a year longer.
