I'm going to try and not get too excited until something happens or doesn't happen. Every year at this time it's the same ole' same ole'. All the neggie's bash the FO until a FA signing, trade, or something no one saw coming happens in the draft. That type of predictable behavior is becoming quite borish.

It was the same thing before the season started when the NFC East was supposed to be sooo good and the Eagles had no chance.

I'll admit, I would like to have seen them go after an Adalius Thomas, but I'm not passing judgment until it's all said and done.

If the season starts without Stallworth or another decent reciever, and no signing of a LB, Dlineman, or Dback, then I'll be in line to bitch and moan.

I didn't say shtein last year.  But they send Spads out there with some retread crap, it's really f'ing annoying.  Maybe when they sign anyone but a retread LB, I'll stop bitching.

By the way, has anyone thought of the possibility of Stallworth exploring the market, getting offers and giving the Eagles a chance to match said offers? He got what looks to be a great offer from New England, and is still shopping. I mean, what receiver wouldn't want to play for that offense? Especially for the money they offered him??

You mean until they traded a 4th rounder for a one-year rental player?  Right.

After Donte signs with the Tennessee Titans and blows up for 65+ receptions and 1200 yards, the Eagles will get a compensation pick from the NFL at the end of the 2nd or 3rd round.

Which they'll squander by drafting a player that makes no impact.
