Oh, here's my in-depth analysis of Spads' most recent genius article:

QuoteBut what do I know? Not much, honestly.

...an excellent way to build credibility with the reader early in the article.

QuoteThe offense is ready to line up in September and score 24 points

All year?  That's not very good.

QuoteYou want to run the ball with Brian Westbrook and Ryan Moats?

Run the ball?  Yes.  With Westbrook?  Yes.  With Moats?  HAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHHHHAAHAHAHAHA

QuoteWorried about pure speed, given, in this scenario, the loss of Donte' Stallworth?

Yes.  Yes I am.

QuoteIf the Eagles feel the need for speed, they can go out and get some in the draft. A gaggle of receivers run legitimate 4.3 40s, so speed is not a worry.

I want to choke someone.  Preferably Dave or "munsin".

Quoteboth Hank Baskett and Jason Avant saw enough game action in 2006 to understand the tempo of the NFL

I *understand* the tempo of the NFL.  That doesn't mean I belong on the field.

QuoteI have Jason Davis as my second fullback. Davis is a player who is going to make a real push this year. Mark my words.

Consider them marked, buddy.

QuoteDefensively, there are more questions.

That's pretty much the biggest understatement ever written in any opinion piece ever.  It's like saying that George W. Bush "might not be the best President in the history of the United States".

QuoteAdd in the prospects of an improved Brodrick Bunkley and Chris Gocong

No.

QuoteThey would have to show they have enough depth at corner -- at this point, Joselio Hanson and Dustin Fox are the reserves

I literally want to cry, drink, and punch people.  In the scrotums.

QuoteThe return game would have a new look, with Jeremy Bloom the obvious choice in the punt game.  The kickoff return specialist would be Bloom at this point.

Let's go ahead and bank on that, shall we?  When was the last time Jeremy Bloom played football competitively?  2002?

QuoteI haven't play pretend like this since I was a kid. I'm kind of enjoying it.

I'm.... I... wow.

QuoteAnd what I see is a team that doesn't have a lot of holes.

I suppose none of them technically have a vagina, so I'll give him that... but only in the most literal of interpretations.

QuoteIf you are a logical Eagles fan, you understand what I am seeing.

Right.  Except for the exact opposite.

QuoteThe Eagles have a very good team right now

Incorrect.

QuoteBobby Wade for $15 million over five years? What the heck is Minnesota doing?

They also signed Brad Childress and Mike McMahon last offseason, and acquired Billy McMullen.  Looks like they're trying to follow the "gold standard" to me.

Quote# The Jets made a really good move with Thomas Jones. Wow. The AFC is loaded with New England, San Diego, Denver, the Jets ... that is going to be great competition in that conference this year.

Yeah, good thing our team of bona fide superstars doesn't have to play the AFC champion to win a Super Bowl!

Worst article ever.

The Eagles will obviously win in NE if they match up Joselio one on one against Donte Stallworth.

its pretty farging ballsy to say without hesitation that the eagles will score 24  a game without even thinking about it with aj feely as your qb and 27-30 if mcnabb is the qb

the eagles high with mcnabb is 25 pts one time and every other year was under 24

27-30 is peyton manning colts numbers

Forgive me if I don't get broken-hearted and cry over these athletes getting "burned" because their current team doesn't want them and they sign for tens of millions of dollars somewhere else.  "I have to move my family."  "They didn't even want to talk to me."  Cry me a farging river........

QuoteCorey Dillon will make his first free agent visit Thursday, with the Buffalo Bills.

Buffalo has hosted Dominic Rhodes and Chris Brown this week as they prepare to deal Willis McGahee. The Ravens seem to be viewing Dillon as a fallback plan if they can't acquire McGahee.

The BIGSTUD

The sad thing is that Spadaro is the mouthpiece for the Eagles and the Eagles probably believe everything Spadaro said. Which is why they haven't brought any free agents in yet.

The situation is just starting to become laughable at this point.

Bills | Team working on sending McGahee to Baltimore

ESPNews reports the Baltimore Ravens are working with the Buffalo Bills on a trade to acquire Bills RB Willis McGahee.

Broncos | Team still working on deal with Washington
Wed, 7 Mar 2007 12:41:49 -0800

Jason La Canfora, of the Washington Post, reports the Washington taterskins and Denver Broncos are actively trying to work out a deal, with the Broncos seeking the No. 6 pick in the 2007 NFL Draft and the taterskins looking to acquire CB Dre' Bly. The Broncos tried to offer LB Al Wilson and a package of draft picks for the taterskins' high draft pick, but the deal fell through when the taterskins opted to sign LB London Fletcher-Baker instead of trading for Wilson. Also, the taterskins have offered CB Shawn Springs in a deal for Bly, but the Broncos are not willing to give the taterskins cap relief for the $7.5 million charge they would receive by trading Springs. With both teams still coveting their targets, and with Bly still reportedly looking to play in Washington, it is still possible for some kind of swap involving Bly and the taterskins' first-round pick to happen before the draft.

I hope the Broncos own the taterskins like they normally do in trades. I saw some other rumors say the Broncos are pressing hard to get Betts from them, even after they got Henry. That would be hilarious if the Broncos could make off with Betts, the #6 pick, and give up Bly and their first round pick.

On his section of the EMB, Dave said that Bunkley's weight wasn't the problem.  It's his form and technique.  But, he said not to worry... because Bunkley will be a "pet project" this year.

14th overall picks are not pet projects.  Reno Mahe's and Dustin Fox's and Jason Davis's are pet project.

My prediction for Bunkley in 2007: He'll come into camp in great shape, impress the coaches, do well in the preseason...and get injured.
