I don't follow Oakland, so I have to take your word.

I don't either, but I listen to NFL radio quite often.

Calvin is ridiculously good.  He would make a QB look good, example Reggie Ball.  The guy is as IGY said, a Freak who in 3 years could truly be the best WR in the game.

Now if Jarrett falls, thats an Anquan Boldin situation.  Bad 40, great player.

Johnson will go #4 to Tampa Bay unless someone trades up for him.  The first 3 teams have bigger needs than WR...

Rome

Russell, Joe Thomas & Adrian Peterson will go before Johnson.

They shouldn't but they will because of needs.

MadMarchHare

JC, did anyone else see Peterson timed at 4.43 in the 40.  Yikes.
Anyone but Reid.

The BIGSTUD

The Raiders have bigger needs than WR, but this team is in a year to year rebuilding process. They can get a QB next year. Calvin Johnson is too special to pass up.

Meecham ran a 4.36 I think. If Stallworth is gone, do you think the Eagles can get him at thier pick?

Would you want them to?

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Zanshin

If the Raiders take a QB, they should trade out of the first spot.  It's not like they don't have a number of holes to fill.

For the first time in as long as I can remember I am not even remotely excited about this draft.

Maybe last year crushed me. I was thrilled with getting Bunkley and Justice. Thought MJG was a steal. Even the WRs looked like they had a way to contribute to the team.

No.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Meecham doesnt do anything for me.  I'd much rather have Stallworth.  Same school, Donte is faster, similar injury historys.

Patrick Willis ran a 4.49 and 4.53 second time. Don't count on him being there anymore.  :-\

PoopyfaceMcGee

I'm with rjs on this year's draft.  I got all excited about last year's, and it's been decidedly anticlimactic since.  This year, I'll watch most of it, but I won't bother paying any attention to pre-draft coverage.

it would be unimaginable for the eagles let stallworth walk and then draft meecham...meecham IS stallworth but unproven....the only positive would be that my feelings over stallworth leaving would turn from anger to hilarity...thats how ridiculous it would be
