anyone who doesn't predict them to pick a lineman isn't in tune with this FO.

AR has had 8 1st round picks since he's been here, 5 have been lineman (4 defensive)

My memory is foggy, what pick(s) do we get for Fraley, Hicks, Thomas, and Parry? I know Fraley and Parry were traded for late rounders, but I'm not sure on Hicks and Thomas.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Fraley - 6th rounder in 2007?
Hicks - used for picks and to move around in 2006 draft, no pick in 2007
Thomas - same deal as Hicks
Parry - conditional pick - probably no better than a 7th

Soooo... they'll end up as our new defensive "playmakers".

One of the top safeties will. But it won't be Landry, no way. My guess is Merriweather, who looked real good at the Senior Bowl, or Griffin, who looked great too. I think it'll come to combine work outs.

I'd take Griffin everytime. Dude's a playmaker.

I would be happy with Merriweather, he is one of those guys that was easy to forget about since he played on a bad Miami team this season.  Every game I saw them play though the guy was making plays.  Either way the Eagles should be able to end up with a pretty good safety in this draft.

I'm partial to Griffin, but would gladly take Meriweather if he was availble.
