Satellite images of the Earth's surface can be very interesting. From a detailed view at street level to a more panoramic view from space, you can see all sorts of things on Earth from your computer. The entire globe is laid bare including the ocean floor. It's really cool stuff.

Sometimes, really strange features become apparent. The continents and ocean floor appear scared by great forces. If you look closely, you can see evidence of enormous runoff from and deposits adjacent to every continent. As a creationist, I think much of this is evidence of a global flood. I know, it sounds fanciful. If you're interested, check out this 19 min. video which examines features on the continental United States. Did the Colorado river carve the Grand Canyon? Geological evidence suggests another source. Google Earth allows you to see first hand what may have really happened.

Here's an interesting feature I noticed. This is the Western coast of Africa. Do you see the two lines of sediments extending out into the Atlantic? The southern most one is really prominent.



On closer inspection, something strange appears close to the shore.



Do you see the four depressions in the sea floor with a cone shaped mount to the west? What could have caused this feature? Let's look closer.



Look at the coast of Namibia. Do you see the distinct lines on the continent pointing directly toward the depressions? This is sixty miles of land which appears completely sheared. Look at it.



This appears to be shear stress caused by a torrent of massive amounts of water. The cone shaped mount and sediments that extend out into the ocean are consistent with a huge continent draining of global flood waters.

There are dozens of examples just like this one spanning the globe.

It doesn't have to support every detail. It is interesting that every major culture has such a myth. Many of them share significant details. Wouldn't you expect there to be a worldwide remembrance of such an event if just a handful of souls survived? As the oral history was handed down from one generation to the next, details would be forgotten and/or exaggerated. According to the biblical account, hundreds of years after the flood, an authoritative account is written down by special revelation. My position is that these are descriptions of the same event with the Bible being more descriptive. There are lesser flood myths which are not global in scope. They should not be confused with the global accounts.

I believe the aliens are hiding underground...waiting for global rape day in which the aliens will be able to use their invisibility or 'cloaking' skillz and follow every hot looking bitch from the grocery store into her New York apartment.
