2006-07 Flyers Season Thread

Nittymaki was terrible - no less than three bad goals, and the one of his glove was one of the worst I've ever seen.

Worst part was, everyone knew that, even with a minute left, the Flyers would blow the game.  You knew it.  I knew it.  The Devils knew it.  Worse - the Flyers knew it.

The Flyers are the worst team in the NHL, by an extremely wide margin. Nothing else worth saying about these bums.

The rumor going is Carolina is interested in 3 players on the Flyers. 

Forsberg = They dont have enough young talent to get him

Sami =  He played there before, and the Canes need to move a D Man to make room for Kaberle

Calder=  Calder is playing well after the return of Carter

I think the Sami trade might be the most likely.  With Kaberle returning fron injury they need to move DMen either to the minors or by trade. 

Also the Hatcher rumors are gaining steam with Dallas leading the way.  Hatcher stunk earlier this year but has played very well in the past 3 months, he's been a very effective Penalty Killer.

if any trades do happen, it better be with a lot of consideration for the near future...not just salary dump.   However, I would trade Hatcher for a Chik-fil-A sandwich, straight up.

I guess what I'm asking is this: Can we make it a combo meal instead of just a sandwich?

Hatcher hasn't been that awful this year, he hasn't killed them like he did last year, that's for sure

I don't think the odd shape takes away from their fried goodness.

their texture doesnt taste like a french fry...in fact i dont even consider them french fries....very often they are soggy...there just isnt any good reason for the existence of waffle fries

While I don't know what he brings to the locker room...on the ice, he'd like to lead by example, but the wheels are shot...making the rest of the D-men work that much harder....and that isn't winning any games for us this year.

waffle fries are a nice change, but they're scarey.
