Just started playng F.E.A.R. for the 360. It plays a lot like a standard XBox game, nothing special as far as graphics goes. It's sort of like Half Life meets Doom meets Black - but not as good. Still...it's a fun game to play which overall is the most important thing.

Anyone play Lost Planet yet? Game looks good but I've heard mixed reviews.

I'm trying to sell my copy of FEAR on e-bay right now. It was the first game I bought & easily the the one that most disappointed me out of the 8 I have. Being a fan of both FPS & horror games, I thought it as going to be great, but was let down by the graphics & variety of enemies.

I a huge fan of the zombie genre & have been playing Dead Rising for the past 3 weeks. I'm also trying to get a feel for Lost Planet & will probably make that my next purchase.

The enemies never change? Well that sucks, I've played it for about 3 hours and its the same generic bad guys. They had one guy come out with shields and shtein - he was a little tough to kill, there was also some thing with goggles that was really fast but once you activated your special powers he was an easy kill. Did you try trading it in? That's what I plan on doing as soon as I beat it.
I'll have to check out Dead Rising, I love the plot of the game but my buddy told me you use 2 X 4s and stuff as your weapons and that finding stuff in the mall got confusing. Think I'll rent it.

Trading in games is a HUGE rip-off.

I routinely sell games on ebay when i am through with them and get two to three times trade in value.

I just sold Madden 06 on ebay for $17, trade in value is about $3

i agree Wing.  Ill never trade in games again.  Ebay is the only way to go IMO.

The current premium version will be priced to $299 (New Core Version) and the newer version will (Zephyr) be priced at $499.

Good. About 2 weeks ago my friend told me about a price drop sometime around February. I couldn't bring myself to spend $400 on a video game system (the $300 one is an awful deal compared to the $400) then plus two or three games I'd get when I buy the 360 which would be about $600 total.

eBay is awesome. Two years ago I sold 16 games that were all atleast a year old. About 7 of the games were out of date sports games. I got $185.  I just sold Madden 07 for $38.

he didn't send the game, and now he is not a member of ebay anymore.  i'm going through their dispute process, but i paid with cashiers check, so i'm not sure if i'm covered the same way as if i would have paid using paypal.

Ouch, that sucks. I ordered a book for school last semester and the same thing happened. I filed a claim and eventually got my money back. I paid with a credit card, though.

I'm dealing with a fleshpophead buyer right now. I sold my copy of FEAR to this dude at an auction that ended 2 weeks ago today & I still haven't received payment. The thing that kills me, is that when I look at his feedback, he's bought stuff since & has had people comment what a fast payor he is.

I'm giving the little dork until Monday, then filing for non-payment.
