Who has the police free for all attitude?

QuoteNO...unless they are known drug dealers gang members murderers or some very extenuating circumstances that would validate the police to stretch a simple traffic accident/gun possesion/drug paraphernalia charge into the police turning over someones entire home

So, VIGY supports search warrants when there is no evidence, just a criminal record.   If there is actual evidence, but the perp goes to church on Sunday they should be slapped on the wrist and sent home to sit in the corner.   ???

An ad hominem fallacy consists of asserting that someone's argument is wrong and/or he is wrong to argue at all purely because of something discreditable/not-authoritative about the person or those persons cited by him rather than addressing the soundness of the argument itself.

Honestly I do feel kind of bad for Andy.  I'm not a parent so I don't know what it's like but this has to be difficult for him.  Has he not be spending enough time with them?  Or just doesn't care?  If choking with the Eagles is making him choke as a parent, too (hahahaha :( ) then maybe he should rethink his position on the team.

Do you have kids?

I'm not a parent

From the post you quoted.  ;D

Thanks QGY  :-D

These aren't 6-yr old kids running around a restaurant, whose behavior can be blamed on a lack of parental control. As adults, they have full responsibility for being irrational a-holes without a sense of responsibility.

I'm 21 and I have no plans of ever having kids.  They're one huge problem.  Plus I wouldn't be responsible enough.  I'm way too selfish for that.  ^-^

QuotePHILADELPHIA - February 1, 2007 - The investigations swirling around two sons of Eagles head football coach Andy Reid are growing at this hour.

Earlier, Action News learned that a search of the vehicle driven by Britt Reid yielded a shotgun, along with so-called "cop killer" hollow point bullets, and suspected drugs.

A second gun was recovered from the 21-year-old Reid as police searched the family's Villanova home.

This all started after Britt Reid was allegedly involved in a road rage incident in West Conshohocken Tuesday morning.

Documents just obtained by Action News show police recovered a Remington police magnum shotgun, 45 caliber bullets, a plastic container with white powder, several baggies with white residue, and a pharmacy container holding a green, leafy substance.

Reid's oldest son , 24-year-old Garrett, was involved in a serious traffic accident later Tuesday afternoon. Plymouth Township police say they found drug paraphernalia in the SUV Garrett was driving when he ran a light at a high rate of speed and slammed into a car.

Reid and his wife did return to the family home in Villanova Wednesday, cutting a vacation short.

So far, no charges have been filed against either son. There is word that Andy Reid might issue a statement on the cases involving his sons later today.
"Oh, yeah. They'll still boo. They have to. They're born to boo. Just now, they'll only boo with two Os instead of like four." - Larry Andersen

I can't wait to hear Andy's statement:
