I want Patrick Willis here. No shot though...unless they trade up. And that ain't happening...not for a LB. :-\

Griffin is a player that I have seen play a decent amount being down here in TX.  If the Eagles got him with their pick I think that it would be a very solid choice.  Brian Leonard would be an interesting choice, but what round will he go in?

The idea that the Eagles under Reid would draft a motherfarger FB is ludicrous.  Further, the idea that the Eagles would then use him properly is insane.

Well the simple fact that they are "interested in him" should be a sure sign he won't be picked by them.

I know that's the cool thing to say and everything, but how exactly have the birds not used a FB correctly under Reid? They've drafted two (Cecil Martin and Thomas Tepeh), and signed one in Ritchie.

A FB is used as a lead blocker with the occasional run, or pass in the flat. Which is exactly what every FB has done under Reid so far. A true FB rarely sees the ball anymore.

He carried the ball A LOT in college. He's a big dude. He's white. He runs hard and knows how to block. He catches the ball extremely well. He's from Rutgers.

All of that leads me to believe that Andy Reid will at least consider taking him in this draft.

Dear Andy,

Please draft Leonard. Or I will kill you.

Many thanks,

DH

Drunkmasterflex

There is no reason for the Eagles to draft an OL, so they will probably draft 3 or 4.

I'll be outright pissed if they draft an OL on day 1 this year, unless one of their current guys gets shot ot they lose one to a fence-jumping incident.

Last year 6 of the 8 draft picks were on this list. Pat McCoy too.

I wouldn't mind seeing an OG taken. Scott Young can be replaced pronto. When I mean OG taken I mean like 4th round and down. 1st 3 rounds have to be LB, S, RB, or something like that.

The first OG off the bench next year should be Max Jean-Gilles, unless he's another bust.
