where was patterson?

what are the top 2 positions we go after in off season?
Pass.  Pass. Pass. PUNT.  No pro bowl WR's.  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  Retarded special teams.  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  "I've got to do a better job."  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  Running game shines for 3 plays. Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  No adjustments anywhere.  Pass.  Pass. Pass. PUNT.  (repeat)

Dline and Oline.  Then in the 5th round we'll draft a project LB

Too soon to think about that.  Way too soon.  I gotta more important things on my mind (like spackling).
Anyone but Reid.

Draft a big-time safety and go after DT and SAM LB in free agency.

Re-sign Stallworth, re-sign Garcia.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

QB Eagles

Quote from: MadMarchHare on January 14, 2007, 12:19:35 AMNothing about this loss is easy.  It is worse than the Tampa Bay loss.  Way worse.

No way. We had owned that team forever before then, and they killed us in the last ever game at the Vet. Warren Sapp, the bandwagon Tampon fans, Chucky, and all the rest of the paper champions were gloating like a pig in shtein. The Eagles disgracefully let them shut down their home forever with a loss in the biggest game that stadium had seen in 20 years.

This one hurts today, but the Saints are a better team, with a better coach and better players. The Eagles lost how many Pro Bowlers to injury, including their starting QB, and made the playoffs only through the grace of the rest of the NFC sucking. This one hurts like hell tonight and will for a while, but this one can be gotten over.

Lewis just said he won't be back as a backup or special teams guy and says he's worn the Eagles uniform for the last time.

BOLD!

Don't let the door torch you for a 50 yard pass TD on the way out, icehole.

So when he comes back in three years a broken man, do he and Reid hug?

That's exactly WHY it's worse.  They had better players, and were better coached, and entering the 4th quarter we had them by the nutsack.  Two ANDY REID drives later, it's a gimme loss.  Unexfargingceptable.  He should know better by now, and yet still make the same mutherfarging mistakes!  He needs to die.
Anyone but Reid.

Garcia is 37. He's a career backup who can be highly effective when called upon. But I doubt anyone is going to sign Garcia for a starting QB position.

Any team that is in a 'rebuilding mode' will try and develop a young QB that they can build around, and no one really signs a QB that can 'get them over the hump' -- especially one reaching the end of their career.

He likes Philly, he's comfortable in this role, and I think that if the Eagles sign him to an extension that is one less position to worry about come next season if/when McNabb tears his knee up walking to the locker room.

If Reid's still in Philly in 3 years it better be as a hotdog vendor.

Agreed, accept they also need a starting MLB.
