Don't safeties almost always fall in the draft?  I could see one of Landry or Nelson falling to us.  Crazy things happen when they get to the combines.

Also, I hope the Birds look at Cincy's former MLB, Odell Thurman and see if he can come in as a future replacement for Trotter.  Guy can play and I hope he has straightened himself out.

Zero shot on Thurman.

He's too much for the Bengals to handle. Do you see Reid taking his shtein? Negative.

It depends.  Polamalu and Ed Reed fell to the second half of the 1st round, while awesome Hall of Fame superstars like Roy Williams and Sean Taylor went top 10....

Greatest safteys of all time  :-D
Landry does seem like he's middle of first material and depending on the Combine might fall to the late first.  I just want a good Middle LB for the future along with a FS

That and Michael Huff and Donte Whitner went in the top 10 last year, Whitner was expected to be a late 1st early 2nd.

If they got either Landry or Nelson, it would be a very good draft on that alone.

I have one word: Linebacker

Or is that two?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
