Antonio Bryant was suspended for four games for violating the substance abuse policy.

The sanction stems from Bryant's arrest last month on suspicion of drunken driving, reckless driving and resisting arrest.

Bryant, 25, will miss the final two regular-season games and, if the 49ers advance to postseason play, the suspension will carry into the playoffs. If San Francisco does not make the playoffs, Bryant will sit out the first two games of the 2007 season, a league spokesman said late Friday afternoon.

Vikings release Marcus Robinson

Childress ain't to be farged with! 

Robinson was at Winter Park on Friday and Childress gave no indication that a move was imminent. On Saturday, the St. Paul Pioneer Press published an interview in which Robinson joined a number of other veterans who have questioned the team's offensive approach.  Robinson also said he does not communicate much with Childress, echoing a sentiment expressed Dec. 17 by quarterback Brad Johnson — who said he and Childress "never talk."

Sunday afternoon, Robinson said he had a "total lack of communication" this season with Childress and said he didn't think that voicing his frustration about the way the season was going merited a release.

"It's kind of hard to believe that a guy would be released for voicing his frustration about the season we've had," Robinson said. "So I don't really know why this happened, or why it happened today. Think about it. I had eight touchdowns two years ago, I had five last season and I'm leading the team in touchdowns this season. It's not a production issue. So who knows?"

If I were Jones, I'd be unhappy with more than his production. He's dropping as many balls as he catches it seems. He dropped a shore TD pass in the 4th qtr. Monday. The real good part came with his post game comments. He more or less said if you don't get him the ball early, by the 4th qtr. it's too late. What?!?!? Seems to me that the money man/limelight lover that he is, he would want to make the big catch in the 4th qtr. Hell, with all the mouth he runs, he'd goddamn site better catch the friggen' ball late in the game. What a Punk Bitch he is. He's overrated, and overpaid. Not to mention the fact that he's tearing that team apart at the seams. Even his own players are talking about him to the press without mentioning his name.

How sweet is it that after dissing McNabb and the Eagles, he and his team get beat with the same qb he dissed before he dissed McNabb?? How friggen' ironic is that?

Also, who looks to have made whom better between him and McNabb now???
