Bubba, don't even try. You don't even have a pirate's wooden peg leg to stand on. Good win by the Eagles, Garcia was impressive. Even though they booed him when he didn't stay injured, lol. Good old Eagles fans, they may be misguided, but at least they show passion, more than I can say for us, unfortunately.

It should go without saying, but the taterskins are a for-profit entertainment based business. It is not a charity. It is not there something that is designed to be on a sliding scale. Sure, we all feel ownership and that we are a part of the team, but the NFL and the taterskins are there to make money. It's not a surprise and it's not evil.

I've never gone to a venue where food and drinks aren't overpriced. Not at RFK, Fed-Ex, Camden Yards, Kings Dominion, Sea World, or any of the Disney Worlds. Even at venues which are government run or not for profit like the Smithsonian and the National Zoo, their eateries make a killing. They don't give away concessions. It's part of the game going in and we know it. It's not Dan Snyder. It's the business model.

If you feel ripped off paying for parking, use public transportation. If you don't feel like spending seven bucks for a beer don't buy it. If you want to spend 13 dollars for a Phillips crabcake sandwich (the same price they charge at Baltimore's Inner Harbor Phillips by the way) more power to you.

You have the right to complain. It's in the first Amendment, but the villification of Snyder for trying to make a profit on his investment is silly. There are plenty of legitimate things to take a swipe at Snyder for. The fact that you buy overpriced pretzels isn't one of them. The fact that you sell your tickets to Cowboy's fans isn't one of them. The fact that he spends too much on underachieving free agents and passes the cost down to you... Well, I'm not sure about that, but what business doesn't pass its costs onto its consumers.

Again, the taterskins exist to make money for the NFL and its owners. It was the same for Jack Kent Cooke. Believe it or not, he wanted to make a profit on the 'skins and did.

Snyder's fault probably lies more in that he's trying to hard and tinkers too much. The sin of wanting to make money... that's just a byproduct of the business
