It must feel good to be so loved.

New Dexter was kind of lame.  Seems like a filler episode to me.  Dexter's dad wasn't dead as originally thought and he and the ITK interact for the first time without even knowing it.

If any of you need some episodes I have all of them downloaded.  I always miss it on Sundays so I've had to restort to d/ling it.

MDS

Just caught it tonight. Don't have Showtime so I download whenever they get up on torrents. Pretty revealing for character development, but lacking in the action portion. Still liked it, this shows grows on me per episode.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

rjs246

You guys watch a farging shteinload of TV. Which is remarkable because TV sucks.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

MDS

Not true. There is a lot of good on. Just have to find it. And not be a miserable jerk.

The simple fact that you would put any effort into 'finding' good television signifies that television sucks and that you spend too much time watching it.

You are talking to a group of people which, on the majority, post on 2 different message boards. Free time at home is not an issue with most here.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Rome

I have to agree with rjs that most television shows suck.  I do watch a lot of stuff on the HD channels, however.  Concerts, nature shows, etc.  Good stuff especially in 1080i.

I record four "network" shows on a regular basis and watch them when I can.  CSI: Miami, Studio 60, Heroes, & Battlestar Galactica.

I've also begun recording Jericho and fast-forwarding through the maudlin crap.

Geowhizzer

The last TV show I watched regularly was the first season of 24.  Since then, if it doesn't have a ball or puck, I haven't paid much attention.

One thing I have gotten into are old episodes of The Saint.  My son has taken a liking to watching "bad guys" as well, much to my wife's chagrin.

Heroes was pretty interesting again. They're also doing that end-of-the-year break thing. Farging networks.

'Nine' deep-sixed over bad numbers

LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- ABC's low-rated freshman drama "The Nine" -- about the aftermath of a botched robbery and hostage situation -- has been taken off the schedule, effective immediately.

Seven episodes of "The Nine's" 13-episode order have aired. On Wednesday, the final night of the November sweeps, ABC will air a special "20/20" in the low-rated serialized drama's 10 p.m. slot.

According to the network, the remaining six episodes of "The Nine" will return later in the season. The decision mirrors ABC's move this month to bench the new drama "Six Degrees."

In its most recent airing, "Nine" averaged a minuscule 4.1 million viewers.

Also, Fox has reduced the order for sophomore comedy "The Loop" by three episodes.

After a soft start in the spring, "The Loop" received a surprising second-season pickup in May. Bret Harrison stars as the youngest executive at the corporate headquarters of a major airline who is the first of his friends to get a real job.

Sources point to Fox's limited shelf space as a major reason for the cut order. Fox has two more series -- the drama "Drive" and the comedy "The Winner" -- on tap for midseason, with David E. Kelley's untitled wedding project also targeted for launch later this season.
