Since I'm assuming it was his decision to sign Garcia, I don't think his cluelessness stops on the field.

ice grillin you

marty = garcia imo

but again doesnt matter as this team cant win with donovan so who really cares who the back up is

i am just furious at the front seven they have built on defense...its a joke

i just dont get how two profeesional football coaches (reid and jj) expect to have a competant defense with matt mccoy and dhani jones as your lb's...how come i know they cant play but they dont...it defys logic

and not replacing hollis with another run stuffer was a huge gaffe as well

watch the henry touchdown run and check how far the d tackles got blow off the LOS...ive never seen anything like it
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

the throw was really really bad...it has to go in the receivers hands or in the front row of the stands

that was possibly the worst throw i've ever seen mcnabb make. ever.

SunMo

his first interception in the Super Bowl was pretty awful
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

we should have iverson play QB for the rest of the year.

PoopyfaceMcGee

He'd just throw the ball to himself.

ice grillin you

we should have iverson play QB for the rest of the year.

that would be hot and my boy digs would be happy cause he has a eagles throwback jersey with iversons name and number on it

If he didn't buy it in the parking lot off of a nervous-looking young man, it doesn't count.

The good news is that I don't think Rod would have made the difference between winning and losing yesterday.

Unless he can play QB.

Because if I haven't mentioned it clearly enough, Garcia is an old, skiddish, noodle-armed smudge of donkey diarrhea.

Well we know who is calling the plays today.   ::)

Here's what I said on Andy's well called play on 3rd and goal.

Absolutely infuriating.

In my almost 20 years of following this team, I can't remember getting much more heated than I was after watching that bullshtein.

The absolute dumbest single call Andy reid has ever made here.  How farging sad is it that even at the motherfarging 1/2 yard line... our farging coach STILL can't resist the urge to throw the damn ball.

Of all the things that pissed me off about that game... from the zesty tackling... to the non-existent run defense... to McNabb blowing out his knee... to overall losing to the motherfarging Titans... that playcall farged with me more than any of them combined... and still does.

With the ball sitting inside the 1 yard line:

1. The biggest o-line in the NFL - rendered useless
2. A 240lb QB for purposes of a QB sneak- rendered useless
3. A 350lb lead blocker - rendered useless
4. The "power back" Buckhalter - rendered useless

Again... Andy teased us all with that farging "power" formation... yet he proved again that he just doesn't understand the importance of running the ball.

The ENTIRE time before that snap... I was saying, "there is NO WAY that this play should be anything other than a QB sneak."  Even handing the ball to Westbrook or Buck was more complicated, leaving more room for something to go wrong.  If it came to that, I could have lived with handing the ball off to Westbrook/Buck two times and being turned away.  At least I would have known that Andy realized that you HAVE to run the ball in that situation.  But seeing that motherfarger try to get cute and throw the ball AGAIN (coupled with one of the worst throws I've ever seen McNabb make) was just too much to take.

That play was a microcosm of exactly what the hell is wrong with Andy Reid's offensive philosophy.  This shtein needs to stop... and it needs to stop before the QB who represents our best chance at a Super Bowl is 40 years old.

Get him the farg outta here.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Susquehanna Birder

First, let me say that I agree that a run would have been the right way to go. If you expect to be a good team, you need to be able to get those short yards, especially when the other team knows that you're running. If you can't power ahead for that first down (or score), you don't deserve to win anything.

That said, I will also say that the play call was good on that play. The play action drew in most of the coverage, and LJ was pretty wide open. Runyan was on DNL explaining that they didn't do a good enough job selling the run, so the LBs weren't all fooled. Regardless, had McNabb thrown the ball with more of an arc, it would have been a TD, and there would be no bitching about that play at all.
