I can't believe this. You mean we couldn't have had Kenny Lofton for another 1-year contract (I haven't checked if he has signed anywhere else)....

What about Repko? Kemp even?

Pierre? 45mil?

Unless the thinking is that he can get on base as much as Lofton did...behind Furcal...and replicate last seasons numbers. But Lofton was clutch more times than not. Pierre...I'm not sold on the guy. I need to read more on the guy. If he can produce I guess I'll be ok...every single would be a guaranteed double.Seems like every time wants to have a Jose Reyes type guy.

45 Million? So much for trying to bring in some Bullpen Help, A Starting Pitcher and another Bat.
