The 1980 era is the best ever.  They were some sharp fricken uni's.

The new ones are alright although I hate the hell out of the black jerseys.

if it's about money, he could make a killing on retros.  it's almost as if he doesn't care about the money and just wants the Eagles to start with him

It's not about money. It's about Lurie making his franchise the way he wants to. Any reference to the past is done on a very hesitant basis. I honestly think he doesn't want his magic money making machine to be associated with the old-school Eagles. He choses to ignore the past rather than embrace it...unless there is tremendous pressure to do so.

I'd like to see the Eagles pull out the old school 80's unis every once in awhile. Sort of like how the Chargers bring back the powder blue for a few games a year.

The Eagles just need to prove that they can win a few games they should.... which would be a nice change of pace...

That's not all they need to do. At this point they need to win the games they should (Ten and @Was) and sneak out a couple of games that they shouldn't. I don't see it happening.
