20-3 Philly -- The taterskins needed a break. Had one. The officials took it away. Awful call and apparently obviously bad. Then something strange happened. The defense rose up and made a stop. This is the kind of thing a team can use to its advantage. This offensive series is key. To me, if we score a touchdown, we'll win this game. Wait. They are doing a rekick.

I'm not prepared to make fun of the taterskins on that count until we can determine that the Eagles won't be in the same boat.

The Eagles can't be in the same boat because the Eagles didn't ensure the Broncos get a top 10 pick like the taterskins did... for T.J. Duckett

I believe it was a fumble, but it was something that would be hard to play in replay. We need an objective replay official, someone like Bubba.

the eagles where losing the time of possesion by a huge margin, where 4-11 on thrid downs, McNabb was throwing for like 33% completions... and couldn't score a TD with first and goal at the one

all thgree touchdowns came on plays where nothing normal happened

no one covered Stallworth (broken Coverage)

Brown fumbled the pas... right to Buckhalter in stride

and Brunell threw a gimme TD INT, first time in the third quarter in 15 games he has thrown an int., only his 4th INT of the season

not top mention how many time the Skins got inside Philly's 35 only to self destruct, a missed FG, and losing Portis with a broken hand, yet we still had almost 150 yards rushing by the 4th

I know The Eagles planned it that way


I know the Skins lost , and I know there is no excuses that they lost... but to say that Philly did anything special to score those three TD's on 3 plays is a stretch... and trying to spin it as total domination or a butt whoppin is false

enjoy the win, the eagles earned it... but don't exaggerate the facts

I know I might be the dumbest tit for routing the skins still... but I bleed burgundy and gold. Hypothetically, if we go 10-6 we can still make the playoffs, no? Why is everyone quitting on this team? If we lose against the Bucs next week, then chances are playoffs is "impossible"... but even then a 9-7 might be good enough for a wildcard spot, no? Ummm...It was cover 2. If whatever WR on Sean Taylor's side was going deep, he was going to be one on one with Taylor...so yes....Stallworth was 1-on-1 with Sean Taylor.

I heard Stallworth on WYSP while I was on the way home & he mentioned that this play was designed to specifically target Taylor and use his aggressiveness against him. He siad that once ST bit on the double move, he was gone.

Well, I thought that was clearly a catch, then a fumble before contact with him was made.

Dude. WB is not a power back. He's not even a particularly good RB. He is a hell of a hybrid WR/RB. Again, we made him look very very good.

You know what would have worked perfectly for you guys today? To get up big with WB, and then run the clock out with a guy like Duckett. A big guy could have been used early and often. I mean, seriously, once you had 17 on us, was there any serious thought that we were gonna come back? Run the clock out...
