I was sort of pulling for Detroit (though I didn't actually watch any of the games) which is simply more proof that every team I root for will ultimately lose in embarrassing fashion.

Likely?  That would seem to be a mortal lock to me.

Hopefully he can come back fully ready to go in 2009.  He's got one of the good young arms in MLB.
