Hood just turned 25 years old not even a month ago and he's still in his prime. He's got a ton of football left where as Law and Woodson are damn near at the end of their careers. He's just the type of guy that GM's looking for a DB will be looking for.

I don't know why people really try to convince themselves that Hood is coming back next year. He's gone. Every year, corners are among the most sought after FA's. It's not even a question that someone is going to offer him starter's money. When that happens... the Eagles are going to let him walk.

If this Will Peterson signing doesn't wake you up to that fact... I don't know what will.

i dont think signing peterson would have anything to do with hood unless its because hoods heel is no good

hood is gone and i dont see peterson as his replacement

i really dont understand the peterson thing at all

Like Hood is an awesome untapped gem of a CB or something. He's OK but nothing great, and he's going into a free agent market that will include Nate Clements, Asante Samuel and Nick Harper, so he's no better than the 4th CB on the market if us homers rate him that high. Clements and Samuel will probably get deals right away. The rest of the CB market? meh...

BTW Feva....Woodson, despite a couple of injuries, turned 30 a few weeks ago, so don't start that old crap...
