He devised a gameplan for his offense to have under 200 total yards

he devised a gameplan to win the game and he did it

has andy reid ever had a gameplan...has he ever come out in a game and did something completely different from the week before because of the opponent or because of a limitation on his own team...the answer is NO...he comes out looks into his card and calls the same pass plays time after time after time no matter what is actually happening on the field...hes a mindless robot...hes john nash...except football isnt written in stone formulas...its a fluid process that requires changing on the fly...reid cant do this...its not in him...

Ronder Barber = devised his own gameplan and executed it.

Gruden did nothing.

and he still wins. in fact he took us to the superbowl. this is really getting old...we are 4-3 and could turn it around, and its not unheard of if u go back to the 03 team, and make it into the playoffs. we have frikin baskett starting and our offense is still producing....how is this his fault?

While I am with you on Reid being fired, he is not the reason they lost this game

theres a bigger picture here than todays game...i dont give a shtein about todays game..as far as im concered this is just another in a long line of hideous losses...tell me how under one coach you can have dallas last year....giants in sept of this year and tampa today...three hideous losses like that all within one calender year...most franchises have one of those a decade...a change is in order and it has been for a while

I agree that Reid is not going anywhere, and again I am just venting(I actually think he is a good coach), something has to change. I also agree McNabb did not play his best game today, but to blame him for the loss is ridiculous, he did everything he could at the end of the game he could for them to win. It really seems like we need to reexamine the defense. No sacks on a rookie QB and a makeshift OL, WHAT?

Andy Reid is incapable of adapting to the flow of the game, if you can't see that you're a moron. if the game is going how he anticipated during the week, he is ok because he can work off of his prep. but make him change on the fly? incapable.

gruden knew what his defense could do against mcnabb...they own him and they did it...in turn he had a perfect offensive gameplan...run it into the gut of the eagles until they couldnt move anymore and mass protect his young qb...it was a perfect gameplan and it worked to a T

how are you gonna sack a qb when your defense is uber concerned with the run game...they are taking three step dropsd and mass protecting...gruden would not allow peplinski to get touched today and it worked beautifully...i counted three different times today where he ran on 3rd and 5 or longer...twice getting first downs...brilliant calls....theres a reason this guy has won a superbowl

There's no way a coach can gameplan to score 2 defensive touchdowns. None of that other shtein won them the game. Ronde Barber did.

i actually wonder how much a lot of you actually know about football. igy's right, andy is a horrible playcaller. he has absolutely no clue when it comes to time management, and for the most part he calls the totally opposite kind of play than 95% of the other NFL coaches would make.

as a coach, he has lost us more games than he has won us. we have some sick athletes on our team, which is why we've been so good.

he of course didnt know that two picks would be returned for td's...but he knew that they would most likely pick mcnabb multiple times...and because of that he just needed to keep his team close and in a position to win it at the end...and thats what happened...the fact that the int's he knew they would get got returned for td's was a bonus
