the thing to do now is start a real ground swell to get andy reid fired...they cant waste another year of mcnabb at this age...they need to find a coach in the mold of a gruden...it amazing what can happen when you have an actually game plan like he did today...run the ball 1000 times...short quick passes to eat up the clock and let your defense keep you in it

meanwhile andy has no game plan...he takes the game play by play...whatever is next on his card gets run regardless of down distance or time...andy can draw up individual plays but has no idea how to implement them within a game...why is he throwing a deep out after one has already been taken to the house...and its greg lewis vs ronde barber one on one....yeah mcnabb cant throw it but if you dont want a qb throwing a bad route then dont have that route in the play...i mean greg lewis against ronde barber on a 12 yard out???...are you joking

ive said before and ill say it again...i want donovan in a pro set offense with a cadillac williams type runner behind him in an eye formartion with a fullback...mcnabb cannot carry a team by himself so why put him in a west coast throw 60 times a game offense...hes not that kind of qb...

this will not happen as long as andy reid is coach of this team...its the same ole same ole and it has to stop before they are in full rebuilding mode with jimmy clausen in 2010

haha, Gruden didn't do anything for this victory. His offense sucked and Ronde Barber and McNabb bailed him out. Andy Reid completely outcoached Gruden today, his players didn't execute.

The BIGSTUD

If the Eagles lose for the rest of this season and then go 0-16 next season Andy Reid wouldn't be fired.

He isn't to blame on this game anyway.

Yes he would, you farging idiot. I'd be willing to bet if he loses out this year he'd be fired.

 :-D

You moron. This owner doesn't have the balls to fire Reid. The only way Reid leaves this team is if he resigns.

so wait it wasnt mcnabb and his fragile mindset? i thought ud be all over him with his brain farts today.

lol i find the notion of firing reid hilarious....he didnt lose this game today. hell he didnt lose last week. he might make some bad calls but even those 3rd and 1s sometimes where he calls the pass...the WRs drop the pass. we just have players who just dont sense the urgency. i love reggie brown but he has 1 or 2 really bad drops per week. thats not on reid. everyone from westbrook, buck, and moats has been fumbling this season. the defense is so week to week...one week we are sack kings pressuring like no tomorrow and the next they get no pressure on a rookie QB.

our offense is not the problem whatsoever at all...so i dont know why in the world reid...who basically controls the offense should be called to be fired. our Defense is the problem.

You're an idiot if you think any coach that goes 0-16 for the first time in nfl history wouldn't get fired.

His offense sucked

thats not the point...anyway his offense didnt suck his qb did...and he knew that going in so he devised a game plan that would allow his team to win...that would be to run the farg out of the ball and have peplinski make a play only when he needed too...this is the kind of gameplan that andy reid is incapable of coming up with and why he needs to go

If Reid turned a good 4-1 team into an abysmal. 4-12 team after coming off the worst season of his coaching career, he'd  be fired. Especially since he's be scrutinized even when he was winning.

Even though it had nothing to do with my first post, you think losing 27 games in a row wouldnt get Reid fired? I dont give a shtein if youre exaggerating.

:-D You're a f'n moron. He devised a gameplan for his offense to have under 200 total yards, his defense to score 2 TD's, and his kicker to kick a 62 yard field goal as time runs out? Sure.

PhillyPhreak54

Lurie will not fire Reid. Not gonna happen, groundswell or not.

Drunkmasterflex

While I am with you on Reid being fired, he is not the reason they lost this game.  For whatever reason this team has forgot how to win, these were the games that they used to pull out at the end.  The defense in the past years would not have allowed a QB to get after he stumbled.

I also agree with you on the point on Donovan, he would be an unreal QB if they ran the way a normal NFL team does.  Even today other than not executing the running game really opened things up.

This all being said unless the Eagles lose out, Reid goes no where.

didnt they run today? seriously the problem this whole season has been the D. even in games we have looked good they have come close to losing us a lead. our offense is ranked #1 pretty much in all categories...so how in the world is reid at fault? mcnabb throws 2 INTS today after throwing 2 all season..this game was the fault of mcnabb and just turning the ball over so much.

gruden had no plan of his own....thier offense did absolutely nothing and we gifted them 14 pts.

calling for reid to be fired has got to be dumbest thing i hear eagles fans say. we all know it hurts but calling for reid? i ROFL to that.

Even if the Eagles lose out AND go 8-8 next year Reid will not be fired. He's going nowhere.

The BIGSTUD

It is simply over-analyzing. The reason we lost today is not complicated. McNabb threw 3 INTs for 14 points and we had 4 total turnovers.

You don't even have to look at missed opportunity at the end of the first half of McDougle's stupid moronic penalties.

That is it right there. 2 INTs for TDs, 4 team turnovers. Nothing else needs to be said. McNabb battled the team back and that is great, but he did not play an overall good game. As usual the story of this season is a tale of two halves. Whether it is the defense, the offense, McNabb, the receivers, whatever. We can't play 2 halves of football.
