Southwest Air Tickets

I have a roundtrip ticket award for Southwest Air that expires on 6/24.  I'm most likely not going to be able to use it, so I thought I'd offer it up for sale here in case anyone needs it/could use it.  I normally sell these on eBay for between $280 and $300, but for fellow Eagle fans I think $225 is fair.

Here's what southwest.com says about giving away the ticket:
Quote
GIVE AWAY YOUR AWARD.
Simply find out the destination, travel dates, and times from your lucky recipient. Then follow the instructions at southwest.com or call Reservations to book the desired travel. Here are a few more things you should know:

    * You - not the person using your Award - will need to book the flight by visiting southwest.com or calling Reservations.
    * After you book the flight, provide the person who will be using your Award with the confirmation number and itinerary you receive.
    * At the time of reservation you will need to provide a credit card number to pay the government-imposed September 11th Security Fee of up to $10 roundtrip.
    * For account security reasons, we recommend that you never give out your password or other information about your Rapid Rewards account.

The person using your Award may change the destination, date, or time of travel at no charge prior to flight. If the name on the reservation changes, the itinerary will have to be cancelled and the Award will automatically be returned to your account. You will then have to rebook the trip.

There are two days blacked out -- May 26 and May 29.  Other than that, no restrictions.

Not everywhere....

A few sample fares:

Philly - Las Vegas:  $340
Philly - Los Angeles: $286
Philly - Dallas: $326
Philly - Chicago: $243
Philly - Honolulu: $650

If you're planning a trip, this can be a great deal....

Just to close this out, the tickets are sold.

Lucky buyer spent $225 on a $650 ticket.  Good deal    :yay

I'm really bad at using up my free travel.

This time I have a single ticket (one-way only; no round trip) that expires on 10/3.  If anyone is planning on flying the next week or so, but hasn't made reservations, I'll sell this for $50.  You would still need to purchase the return trip yourself, but this should offer you some savings.

PM me if interested.

Because of the timeframe, I'm also listing this on eBay, but will cancel the auction if someone here wants the ticket.
