McNabb was great today.  Claiming Eli is better is such a stupid assertion IGY.  I konw you like to "live on the edge" but blaming anything on McNabb today is hilarious.  SO much blame can be spread around for blowing this but piling blame on McNabb?  Please.   :boo

oh, and the myth of this great run blocking offensive line was totally exposed today

Eh, I think it was less a myth than the fact that Reid kept calling runs right up the gut into the face of Giant blitzes. Nevermind a play action pass or anything like that, he just kept running the backs right at the heart of the Giants D. Insanity!

Oh, and leaving Hanson on an island as a rookie corner after he kept giving up big chunks of yardage was stupid as well.

Wrong.  The line's run-blocking was crap.

Butchers Bill

I never liked Shockey...but being at the game today I came to appreciate what a total ass he really is.  Whenever the Gnats defense was on the field, so was he...yelling at the refs, yelling at Coughlin to review plays...basically just being a total gay tool.
I believe I've passed the age of consciousness and righteous rage
I found that just surviving was a noble fight.
I once believed in causes too,
I had my pointless point of view,
And life went on no matter who was wrong or right.

im glad there isn't a home game for a couple weeks.  because right now, i'm so disgusted with this loss that i don't want to take the time to go down there.  im sure that will change by the time the next home game rolls around, but just the same, i'm glad it's not this Sunday.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

mcnabb is what he is...eli has yet to get near his potential and even at his current state he outplayed mcnabb today...so i will respectively disagree with that call

Or, you could respectfully (as "respectively" makes no sense) take a day to cool off and realize you don't know what you're talking about.  Reid's 4th and 1 call was his biggest mistake.  Otherwise, you're looking for reasons to blame him and not the players.

--Mike Lewis is a liability in the pass game and failed to fall on the ball.  14 points for the Giants directly off him.
--Rod Hood's injury happened early and loomed large.
--Following Hood's injury, Jim Johnson thoroughly tried too hard to overcoach and called WAY too many blitzes.  He probably figured the Giants would expect him to give help to his depleted secondary, but he fooled them... especially on that last play of the game.  BRILLIANT D!
--Cole's kick was completely asinine and basically was far bigger than anything positive he did in the game.
--No less than 5 drops on great passes.
--Run-blocking sucked ass.

I could go on, but it's not worth it.  You love to blame Reid, and he deserves his share for this loss... which is not nearly as much as you or he would think.

Forgot to mention this, but am I the only one who thought Andy should've challenged Toomer's TD catch? He got his feet in, but after the first foot touched and right before he touched his second foot, he juggled the ball a bit. I was thinking maybe it could've been overturned, but probably not. At that point I think it was worth a challenge. They were leading and didn't really need timeouts.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

That's actually shocking to see. Even after some of the more brutal losses Spads has kept to his figurehead/mouth piece role. This loss really has done a number on everyone. And yes, the play calling in the 4th was brutal.

I've never seen the crowd in suck shock as everyone was today.  I'm disgusted.

But on the bright side, at least we're not the Skins.

IGY, I know you must of been piss-wasted after the game to claim Eli was better than Mcnabb today. one of your worst posts besides the taterskins WR's are one of the best set in the league

The WR's dropped passes when it truly counts, stupid-ass penalties and Andy Reid/Jim Johnson and their farging 4th quarter prevent/soft zone defense that hes been using for the last 4 years cost them this game

prevent defense in the 4th = "prevents" you from winning the game

Eskin said that there was a mistake on the offensive line on that 4th and 1 play.

He also said that Andy Reid stayed longer after this game than any other game that Andy's been here for. This loss really took a blow to him.

well, he was sorta reasponsbile for blowing a 17pt 4th qtr lead at home against a division rival. so, yea, id take it hard if it was my farging fault.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

This one hurts worse than the Dallas loss at home last season.
