Gordon, Smith, Geary appear to be the only decent guys out the pen. Madson is shaky, White is a toss-up if he'll suck or be competent, Fultz has sucked and he's hurt....yea. Things lookin gooooood.

What kills me with Madson is he has good stuff that looks borderline dominant at times, then he completely sucks ass and gives up hits/runs like there's no tomorrow.

Not to mention, he's misused. He's best as a guy who can jump out the pen and got 2 or 3 innings generally every outing. But Manuel uses him as a strategic rhp for a batter or two. If the starter goes 5 or 6, Madson should be the guy to come in and get it into the 8th. Then you use the top 3: geary, smith and gordon.

No, but he does get on base more than Utley and still has an OPS that is ridiculously higher than Rowand's for what it is worth.
