taterskins CB Shawn Springs could miss several more weeks after undergoing abdominal surgery.
It's a huge loss for a thin secondary. Washington may also be without Cornelius Griffin (knee) and Phillip Daniels (back) in Week 1. It's all good news for Minnesota, Washington's Week 1 opponent.

One thread over there has a guy asking if Gibbs is crazy because he likes John Hall and Derrick Frost. He gets jumped on by a few people with one even wondering if he'll be banned for calling Gibbs crazy.

And then Bubba chimes in to say that he should NOT question Joe because Joe had Chip Lohmiller and Mark Mosely 16 years ago.

What does Gibbs know about kickers he only had 2 PK his entire time his first go round

some guys named... Mark Mosely & Chip Lomiller.... the first one was the only remaining straight toed kicker left in the game at the time, and the that Lomiller kid (he drafted no less), he kept him on the team after everyone wanting him cut his first year
