The only one that did anything for me was the asian chick (Natalie Mendozo). There was no hot, double-dong delighting, despite some appearing to be lesbians.

She looks like any random slut you'd find on sublime directory.

Not that there's anything wrong with that, of course.

:D

Watched Saw II and Carlito's Way last night...

Saw II -- Wasn't the same as Saw, except it had the same cop, the same bad guy, and they showed the Saw room.  Predictable story in which  I had figured out some of the key points fairly early on, and figured out the "who did it" very early.  Lot's of blood and gore if you're into that sort of thing.   :cfhead :cfhead

Carlito's Way -- Pretty slow plot that didn't really develop any of the characters.  I like mob movies, so that part was good.  I guess you take the good with the bad, and come out with an average movie.   :cfhead :cfhead 1/2

I just saw "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" and all I have to say is mother of god-- that was piss poor

aside from your 1 or 2 funny will farrell dramatics, this one was right up there with Kicking and Screaming. They tried way too hard on this one

Watch "Benchwarmers" and you'll appreciate "Talladega Nights".

Awful film.  When Jon Lovitz is the film's bright spot... wow.

1.5/5.  Got at least 0.5 for not taking up too much of my time.

I thought Carlito's way was a fairly badass movie. I liked the slower pace and Sean Penn's character might be the best of his career.

Christ. Benchwarmer's was bad. I started reading a book on the couch while my wife watched about twenty minutes in. She turned it off shortly thereafter. The kid from Napolean Dynamite has so much range.... :boo

Yeah, following up a breakout role as Napolean Dynamite, playing another social outcast nerdy type should probably end his career.  But it won't.

I was utterly unimpressed with Mystic River. It got so much hype and buildup as this great movie and then it was just sort of meh to me.

That's because it was set in Baaahston, and you have a natural negative bias.

i watched Nacho Libre at the drafthouse the other night and laughed my ass off.  i never really heard any great reviews for it, but i thought it was funny as hell.

granted, i probably had a good 10-12 beers in me by the time I got there, so most likely i would have laughed at anything, but regardless i thought it was funny.

My bad...  I meant Carlito's Way: Rise To Power, the 2005 movie.  Not the '93 flick.
