I agree with both u guys on his last movies.  I don't think the village or signs was horrible, again, i think you need a certain degree of imagination to really get into the story.  signs was about aliens and the village, pretty much about fantasy beasts.  first two dealt with more believeable situations.  again maybe this makes these movies much harder to relate to or believe.
this movie, like i said was just plain histarical at times. i was in a pretty packed theatre and everyone was laughing and laughing hard at times.  this makes is different from any of his films, yet it still was filled with his great suspenseful moments.
There were alot of characters introduced, while they really didn't get too much into detail about the characters, you could figure them out and believe them all from their personalities.  They all had something to do with the final result. I don't want to get into detail. i liked it better than the village and signs. i don't really remember too much about unbreakable, i'll have to watch that again.  the 6th sense was a instant classic.

i liked Signs because it was about more than aliens.  it had to more meaning to it, similar to Unbreakable.

I watched the Sixth Sense on TV yesterday & would have no problem watching it again tonight.

The scene where the boy reveals his problem to his mother while sitting in the car at the accident, is one of my all-time favorite movie scenes.

i liked Signs...Juaqin Pheonix was great in that movie...and i actually liked a Mel Gibson performance.

it wasnt his best, by far...but i did enjoy signs.

I was pissed off instantly at the end of the Village.

I really liked The 6th Sense, though I don't find it that rewatchable. Donnie Walberg, what.
I thought Unbreakable was terrible. The worst of his movies so far. I saw it on a plane and couldn't get into it. What a stupid idea for a movie.
I like Signs, but I literally laugh at the fact that he decided to tell a story of a family coming together and facing its demons... through alien invasion!! Utterly ridiculous. But like I said, I liked it.
The Village was meh. The problem was that since I knew it was an M. Night flick, I was anticipating the twist and guessed the ending within 20 minutes of the movie starting. When a movie is so completely dependent on it's 'twist' to keep you interested, you know it isn't good (see also, Saw).

Lady in the Water has been geting DESTROYED by critics. Which actually makes me want to see it more because I'm amazed that it could be that bad. I probably won't bother checking it out inthe theater, though.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

I agree, that and when you finally realize that bruce Willis is dead.  I was just talking about this over the weekend.  Usually once you find out the twist there's no point watching it again.  But after that, I had to watch it again just to see how all the pieces fit together.

Did anyone see Clerks II yet?  The reviews have been anywhere from "hilarious" to "F*@&*_@ garbage"...

everyone has there own opinion of art. i like to judge it for myself before reading too much into reviews.  especially in todays pop obsessed culture.

i actually trust your opinions more than most reviewers. i have found some good movies through this thread.

I stopped trusting the movie opinions of Eagle fans after seeing "Dude, Where's My Car?"  :P
