Yes, today is the day when the 2006 season officially begins. Doesn't it seem like forever ago that we were watching that 6-10 mess? Today the rookies and selected vets report to Lehigh. The first "real" day will be Tuesday the 25th and I will be there to report. I will be there on Wednesday too.

So who can't wait to see what crappy car Koy will be driving this year? Who can't wait to see Josh Parry whiff on his blocks? And how can you forget watching Dhani Jones play his goddamn banjo during 7-7's when he "tackles" an offensive player!

Have a ball up at camp. I'm a die hard Eagles fan, but I'll never wake up early as hell on a hot ass day and drive over an hour to watch players practice.

But I do enjoy reading camp reports, so live it up down there.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

If you weren't "die hard" enough to go up from a few hours away or out-of-state, that's one thing.  But you're complaining about driving "over an hour" just to "watch players practice"?  That's B.S.  At TC, you get a much better chance to see players up close, maybe chat with one or two...  It's this simple:  if you're truly a "die hard" fan, you would at least consider heading up from year to year, instead of whining about the heat and the "over an hour" drive.  You're a farging Hoyda.

I'll be there a week from tomorrow probably, can't go Mon-Thurs until August.

Anyone else going to the HoF game??

Good job, consumer.  You've swallowed the ad campaign so well, you think it's cool pop culture reference.

Yes, but I haven't even remotely considered purchasing any Red Stripe.

I almost bought a 12-er of Busch Light last night, but I realized I didn't hate myself that much.

PhillyandBCEagles

Red Stripe is pretty solid.

I usually drink Natty, so Busch Lite is a step up for me

Zanshin

Hate those series of commercials.  And Red Stripe is pretty bland, in general.  Pretty low on the list of quality brews.

And training camp is an excellent opportunity to really enjoy the team and it's easy to really focus on individual development; much more so than during a game.  It's a good way to enjoy football, without the blood pumping game-at-stake pressure.  Nice change of pace.

And I'm really hopeful that the bad year the Eagles had last season chases away the throngs of marginal fans that have been increasing over the last two years.  It's so much better with a smaller crowd.

I've wondered the same.
