I just watched this movie.  It was very good, but not the best movie of the 90's.

im sorry sugar bottom, i gave it my objective viewing.  i would watch it again, no problem, but it's not better than Pulp or Goodfellas.

It depends on what they have Harrison Ford doing in the movie.

If they have him doing the shtein he did in the other movies, it will be a farce.  If a younger character is introduced and they have Ford as a mentor of some sort, it might be worth the $12 to see it.

I don't know.  I loved the last installment with Sean Connery.  They should have just ended it after that.

I just read this.  Goddamn I'm a smart motherfarger.

i saw this movie a year or two ago. too artsy fartsy.

anyway, were almost reaching the "what was the best out of the 00's" discussion. best movie, tv show, song, album, sports team, game, play, etc. That should be interesting to look back on.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

For me, the best movie of the 00s was Letters from Iwo Jima.
Best TV show:  Lost

you definitely havent seen it if you think its artsy

its the best screenplay ever written imo...so many sneaky hilarious lines that you dont even hear as comedy unless youre really paying attention..and just overall unreal dialogue

i dont think youre trying to impress anyone...i just dont think you saw it...or at the very least remember it...or have no idea what an "artsy" movie is

either way your post was grossly off base

i dont really care if you like it or not...but at least know what youre talking about when critiqing it

ok you actually may be on to something here. what i remember about it was indie arthouse self-indulgent whiny white people movie. maybe i need to see it again. maybe your opinions in movies sucks. maybe both.

ice grillin you

definitely both

cider house rules is artsy....millers crossing is not

i think you may be confusing artsy with being a period piece

Miller's Crossing is not an artsy movie.
