Welcome to the club.  The Sawx are Red-hot right now.

PoopyfaceMcGee

Still up on the Phils by what... 18 games?  I think you'll be fine.

BigEd76

The Phils actually gained a game on the Mets the last 3 days.  Down to 11.0 games behind.  Be afraid....

PoopyfaceMcGee

So, you're telling me there's a chance?!?

Feva

Being "no-hit" through 5 right now...  :-\

Bouncing back nicely today against Big Unit... 8-2, top 8.  :yay

EDIT: 4 game skid is history... 8-3 final.

The Mets could win 80 games this year and still make the playoffs.

Feva

While that could be true... I'm hoping for a few more than 80.  ;)

I have a feeling, looking at the state of competition in the NL East, you'll get far more than that.

I see at least 95 in your future.

Then a loss in the NLDS.  ;D

If the playoffs started today, the Mets would play the Cards. And if the Cards play in October, the same way they're playing now, the Mets will coast to the LCS.

That said, I don't think the Mets will play the Cards in the LDS, because I think they'll win the central and the Reds will win the wildcard.

So you're right tht we'll play the Reds in the LDS. But you're wrong that we'll lose.  ;D

I looked at Yahoo, which still has the Cards .001 ahead of the Reds in the Central.  May not be up to date.

All kidding and hatred of the Mets aside, right now they're by far the best in the NL.  Which right now probably makes them about 4th best in the majors (Tigers-Red Sox-White Sox).  I'd put them ahead of the Yanks at this point just on pitching alone.

BTW, what's up with Wagner?  Heard that he twisted his ankle or something.  Barring injury, he'll probably pitch better as the season goes on.
